As a brunette actress, writer and model, Sydney was flying under the radar until her role playing Chryssie Hynde in the Sex Pistols’ mini-series “Pistol” launched her acting career beyond short films. She followed up with sci-fi thriller “Don’t Worry Darling” and Apple TV’s series “Sugar.” However, her biggest endeavor to date debuts in August 2025 – the FX tv series “Alien: Earth” – where Sydney takes the starring role.
Sydney is the daughter of the esteemed actor, Kyle Chandler, who has appeared in many movies and tv series including Mulholland Falls and Zero Dark Thirty on the big screen and Friday Night Lights and Bloodline on the small screen. The brunette stunner has been accused of being a nepo baby; but she doesn’t appreciate the moniker, because she had to prove herself via auditions and performances. She didn’t rely on her famous father hooking her up with tv or film roles.
