As a brunette actress, writer and model, Sydney was flying under the radar until her role playing Chryssie Hynde in the Sex Pistols’ mini-series “Pistol” launched her meteoric rise beyond short films. She followed up with sci-fi thriller “Don’t Worry Darling” and Apple TV’s series “Sugar.” However, her biggest endeavor to date debuts in August 2025 – the FX tv series “Alien: Earth” – where Sydney takes the starring role.
Sydney is the daughter of well-known actor, Kyle Chandler, who has appeared in many movies and tv series including Mulholland Falls and Zero Dark Thirty on the big screen and Friday Night Lights and Bloodline on the small screen. But don’t dare slap the “nepo baby” label on this brunette stunner, because she earned every role, not because she tapped her dad’s Hollywood contacts.
